We’re looking for a highly skilled and experienced Senior Frontend Software Engineer based in Dublin, Ireland to join our team at the forefront of the Software Defined Vehicle (SDV) revolution. This is a high-impact role where you will help to build the web platform that serves as the backbone for our primary product lines.
The ideal candidate is a proactive problem-solver with a mastery of the React ecosystem. You won't just be writing code; you will be driving innovation and delivering the robust, scalable solutions essential to our core business strategy.
Your Impact
Reporting directly to the Senior Engineering Manager, you will take full ownership of the development lifecycle for mission-critical features. You will navigate the complexities of a highly innovative industry. This is a hybrid role based in our Dublin, IE office, where you will be expected to work in our office 3 days a week.
Responsibilities- Design, develop, and maintain complex web applications with a focus on scalability, performance, and maintainability.
- Build and maintain robust, responsive frontend components and user interfaces with React.js, TypeScript, and Ant Design.
- Define and implement testing strategies, including unit, integration, and end-to-end testing.
- Work closely with Product, UX, QA, and other engineering teams to plan, build, and deliver key features.
- Translate UI/UX designs into pixel-perfect implementations, ensuring accessibility, responsiveness, and user-friendliness.
- Lead technical discussions, share knowledge, and contribute to internal engineering documentation and talks.
- Promote engineering excellence through adoption of best practices, developer tooling improvements, and continuous learning initiatives.
- Provide thoughtful and rigorous code reviews, mentoring mid-level and junior engineers to foster a culture of technical growth and high-quality standards.
- Monitor and optimize frontend performance (Core Web Vitals) and implement observability patterns to proactively identify and resolve production issues.
- A seasoned engineer with 5+ years of experience building and scaling complex web applications.
- Strong proficiency in modern frontend technologies: TypeScript, JavaScript, React and related web development tools.
- Deep understanding of component-based architecture and state management in modern JavaScript frameworks.
- Proven ability to lead the full software development lifecycle — from architectural planning and implementation to testing, debugging, documentation, and maintenance.
- Demonstrated ability to influence product roadmap decisions by providing technical feasibility assessments and proposing alternative solutions to complex business problems.
