We are building an inclusive, human-centred product and are looking for a Senior Monetization Frontend Engineer to become part our remote team and our mission to elevate the human experience of sexuality and relationships.

You will be responsible for building, evolving, and optimizing Feeld’s monetization experiences across mobile platforms—ensuring users encounter clear, performant, and trustworthy purchase flows that support sustainable revenue growth.

To be right for this role, you should have extensive Front End experience, with specific experience in paywalls, subscriptions, and pricing.

What you will do:
  • Deliver reliable, high-converting monetization features (subscriptions, in-app purchases, paywalls, promos) with a consistently low rate of post-release bugs.
  • Implement scalable state management and data-fetching strategies that support real-time pricing, entitlements, experiments, and user segmentation.
  • Improve stability and performance of monetization-critical flows, reducing crashes and friction during purchase, restore, and upgrade paths.
  • Ensure seamless integration with backend monetization services, analytics platforms, A/B testing frameworks, and third-party SDKs (e.g. App Store / Play billing).
  • Keep monetization-related frontend SDKs up to date mobile platform changes—especially those affecting payments and store compliance.

  • Deepen your expertise in mobile payment systems and subscription economy best practices across iOS and Android platforms
  • Gain hands-on experience with experimentation frameworks and data-driven product development, learning how to design, instrument, and analyze tests that drive revenue growth
  • Improve your collaborating skills with non-technical partners by translating complex technical concepts into clear business insights
  • Learn how to scale monetization systems across international markets, managing complexity around multiple currencies, regional pricing strategies, and feature flag architectures
  • Strengthen your skills in building resilient, performant systems by optimizing critical paths, reducing technical debt, and improving iteration speed on high-impact revenue features

RequirementsAbout you:
  • You have significant frontend engineering experience, with hands-on work building user-facing features in React Native
  • You have worked on monetization, payments, or subscription features—whether that's building paywalls, integrating billing SDKs, managing entitlements, or optimizing conversion flows
  • You are comfortable debugging across multiple layers of the stack, from UI state management through API integrations to platform-specific billing issues
  • You approach problems with curiosity and ownership, taking initiative to identify friction points and propose improvements without waiting to be asked
  • You communicate technical concepts clearly to non-engineers and collaborate effectively with cross-functional partners
Bonus points:
  • You have worked with experimentation platforms (like Optimizely, LaunchDarkly, or similar) or analytics tools (Amplitude, Mixpanel) to instrument, run, and analyze tests
  • You have experience with consumer subscription businesses and understand the nuances of pricing strategies, promotional offers, trial mechanics, and retention optimization
  • You have contributed to improving developer tooling, testing infrastructure, or CI/CD pipelines to enable faster, safer iteration on critical features
  • You are comfortable operating with a high degree of the technical decision making autonomy in a fast-paced environment
  • You are passionate about human connection, sexuality, relationships, or building inclusive products that serve diverse communities

That is why we offer a compensation system that is transparent, honest, and equitable.  Additionally, we believe all humans deserve to earn a competitive wage, so we offer a Baseline Freedom Salary of £60,000 GBP per year for any role that indexes below £60,000 GBP per year.

Estimated compensation for this role:

  • The total cash compensation for this role is dependent on Level and Step, as well as geographic location, but we estimate that the competitive market compensation for this role is between £70,000 - £105,000 GBP based on the requirements listed in this job description.
Our interview process:
  • Your first conversation with Feeld will be a screening call with our recruiter, where you’ll be able to ask - and receive answers - regarding any general questions you have and to confirm the role is a fit for what you’re seeking.
  • Your second conversation will connect you directly with the hiring manager for the role you’re applying to. Here, you’ll have a chance to ask more questions about the work you’ll be doing. This conversation will also focus on your past work experiences.
  • The next step for most of our roles is a candidate challenge. This is an evaluation of the skills relevant to be successful in this role and generally takes about an hour to complete.
  • Your third conversation allows you the opportunity to meet the team members you might be working with on a daily basis. Here, you’ll be able to ask questions about team processes, workflow, and the employee experience at Feeld.
  • We generally make an offer within 2 weeks of our final call, and offer a flexible start date that can begin as early as the next Monday after you sign our offer documentation.
  • Of note: all of our interviews are conducted remotely, and our interviewers will work with you to find an agreeable interview time based on mutual availability.
