Role Purpose
We are looking for a Senior Finance Operations Analyst to join our Finance Operations Team.
We are looking for someone who learns the business quickly, takes ownership of their work and consistently delivers accurate, timely outcomes. The successful candidate will be adaptable, customer-focused and proud of maintaining high standards, particularly when processing payment files and resolving transaction discrepancies.
You will work closely with colleagues across the Finance Operations Division and the wider business, building your knowledge of Finance Operations, Controls, and Reporting.
Accountabilities of the Role
Manage daily employer premium receivables, ensuring payments are accurately reconciled across employers, services and policy types.
Investigate, resolve and follow up discrepancies in premium payments, in partnership with Finance Operations and relevant business stakeholders.
Co-ordinate monthly premium reporting, ensuring data is complete, accurate and actioned appropriately.
Support the continuous improvement of employer payment reconciliation, collection and reporting processes.
Build and maintain effective working relationships across Finance Operations and the wider business.
Undertake other relevant duties and projects as required.
Skills & Knowledge Required
Strong business, commercial and regulatory awareness.
Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
Strong analytical, numerical and reporting skills.
Organised, accurate and detail focused.
Able to work independently, take ownership and meet deadlines.
Strong problem-solving, and root-cause analysis skills.
Collaborative team player with effective communication skills.
