Job Description

What You’ll Do

We want you to feel challenged and inspired. Here, you’ll develop your skills across a range of responsibilities: 

  • Develop and deliver a clear insights strategy in partnership with commercial finance, FP&A, customer insights, and strategy teams
  • Analyse business performance by combining internal data with external market and competitor insights
  • Identify and onboard new external data sources to enhance market and performance analysis
  • Create and maintain standardised dashboards and reports to provide regular, actionable business insights
  • Conduct deep-dive analysis across key markets to understand drivers of performance and communicate findings effectively
  • Support external reporting by contributing to performance narratives for the parent company (ABF) and wider market communications

What You’ll Bring  

Here at Primark, we want everyone to feel valued – so please bring your authentic self to work, of course with some other key experience and abilities for this role in particular: 

  • 7+ years’ experience in finance, analytics, or performance-based roles, with strong expertise in interpreting and triangulating multiple data sources
  • Strong financial analysis skills, with the ability to translate complex data into strategic insights that inform business decisions
  • Experience using BI tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or similar platforms to build and present data-driven insights
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to clearly convey complex financial information to a range of stakeholders
  • Proven leadership and collaboration capabilities, with experience mentoring teams and influencing cross-functional partners
  • Strategic mindset with strong problem-solving ability, adaptability, and alignment to long-term business goals, supported by a relevant degree (and professional qualifications such as ACA, ACCA, CIMA, CFA, or MBA preferred)
