What You Will Get To Do:
- Improve and maintain existing CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps Server (TFS) and PowerShell
- Manage and maintain deployment scripts and release configurations for .NET/C# applications and Microsoft SQL Server databases.
- Support and coordinate software releases across development, QA, staging, and production environments.
- Automate deployment, build, and integration processes to increase release reliability and speed.
- Assist in standing up environments for new clients, including configuring deployment pipelines, setting up application configurations, and coordinating with Release Management and Application Packaging teams to ensure readiness across all stages.
- Collaborate with Development and QA teams to streamline delivery pipelines and ensure release readiness.
- Troubleshoot and resolve deployment, configuration, and runtime issues in Windows-based environments.
- Provide support for installation packaging using WiX Toolset.
- Apply scripting and automation using PowerShell for process improvements.
- Maintain system and application health monitoring with attention to performance and availability (Grafana)
- Support transition to containerized deployments (Docker/Kubernetes).
What You Will Bring:
- A strong background in software release management, with hands-on experience deploying applications to multiple environments.
- A mindset focused on automation, consistency, and reducing manual processes.
- Expertise in maintaining and enhancing CI/CD pipelines
- Proficiency with .NET (C#) application deployments and SQL Server (T-SQL) scripting.
- Solid scripting skills with PowerShell, enabling you to automate repetitive tasks and streamline deployments.
- Good understanding of Windows Server environments, including system configuration and networking fundamentals.
- Working knowledge of Docker \ Kubernetes, and a readiness to support the team’s transition to containerized deployments.
- A collaborative mindset with strong communication skills to work effectively with both onshore and offshore development and QA teams.
