The Team 

The Cybersecurity team is designated with the development and implementation of Viva’s cybersecurity strategy and architecture. Furthermore, the team ensures the improvement of the company’s security posture through a cross functional role with other departments along with the enhancement of the overall cybersecurity capabilities.   

The Role 

As member of the Cybersecurity team, the successful candidate will be delegated with different functions of security operations, including security monitoring, vulnerability management, threat intelligence and incident response. You will lead and handle cyber security incidents, manage, and analyze threat intelligence, conduct threat hunting, and perform digital investigations. During incidents you will both be coordinating actions of other security specialists and stakeholders, as well as conduct security investigations. Furthermore, it is expected to collaborate across multiple workstreams in the Technology Group and coordinate different teams during the performance of their duties.  

Responsibilities:

  • Design, implementation, and monitoring of security measures for the protection of the organization’s data, systems, applications, and networks;
  • Deployment, management, and optimization of cybersecurity solutions focusing on detection and response functions;
  • Lead security monitoring, analysis and response to security alerts and incidents escalated by SOC;
  • Mitigation and resolution of security incidents involving critical and other support systems;
  • Perform security incidents investigation & evidence gathering;
  • Develop and maintain security playbooks and incident response plans as well as execute incident response exercises;
  • Perform threat and vulnerability analysis, assessment, and management;
  • Assess and implement mitigation actions on security testing results;
  • Detection, analysis and response to previously unknown threats, unusual activities, hardware and software vulnerabilities;
  • Investigation, documentation, and reporting on any security issues as well as emerging trends;
  • Daily administrative tasks, reporting and communication with relevant departments in the Technology group. 
Requirements
  • University degree in Computer science, Information technology, Cybersecurity, or a related qualification related to the fields of information security and information technology;
  • Minimum four (4) years of working experience in cybersecurity with responsibilities such as cybersecurity operations, security monitoring & analysis, threat intelligence and incident response;
  • Certifications such as CEH, OSCP, etc. will be considered as a plus;
  • Knowledge and experience in cybersecurity solutions such as SIEM, EDR, DLP and digital forensic tools Scripting and programming skills;
  • Excellent understanding of cybersecurity threats, vulnerabilities, and incident response;
  • Excellent knowledge of Azure environment.
