We are continuously growing and we are looking for a Senior UC Voice Engineer to join our Unified Communications team.

For the Senior UC Voice Engineer position we expect you to:

  • Be involved with UC-Telephony Networks’ investigation of topologies, PBX functions, PBX services, needs and their adaptation to the offered project’s data, with a standard or dynamic approach.
  • Conduct professionally client meetings in order to advise them on new UC-Telephony Network services/solutions.
  • Participate in the presales process in collaboration with other departments/ team members.
  • Create documentation and revise the deliverables for complicated & important other projects - apart from Syzefxis II.
  • Ensure the resolution of issues in projects that have already been delivered and that time frames are met
  • Conduct fault investigation in lab environment.
  • Coach and guide colleagues in technical related issues
  • Gain technical specialization on specific products/technologies/solutions.

We would like you to have:

  • University/College degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or other relative discipline
  • At least 5 years of proven experience in similar role and expertise in a set of the following areas will be required:

- Principles of urban telephone network operations. Especially the wired ones.

- Features, functions and services of enterprise telephone networks.

- PBX features and services (DC Based and/or Web Based, Stand Alone or Multi-Site).

- PBX functionalities about analogue, digital, IP and SIP/VoIP, protocols and circuits.

  • Familiarity with IP networking, major internet routing protocols and technologies.
  • Proven experience in commercial buildings' structured cabling, backbone or edge network. Especially regarding Copper and F.O. systems.
  • Efficient qualification in Telephony's Networks solutions architecture in relation with the optimal utilization of commercial agreements, IT & inside Network resources, in order to support, Sales, Pre/After-Sales, PM, B2B and/or Strategic Business efforts.
  • Excellent knowledge of English language (written and verbal)
  • Genuine interest in exploring and working with new technologies
  • Ability to work both independently and communicate effectively with various business stakeholders
  • Flexibility to work outside of HQs premises. This expected working time frame, is on the average 5% of the working time of the candidate, but it may occasionally vary depending on the current team requirements.

Ideally, it will be highly appreciated if you are aware of:

  • Media Distributed Data Networks, Data Center & Structured Cabling regarding Concept design & Preliminary studies, Project appraisals & Cost estimates, Full system design & Product Management Development.
  • PBX systems’ installation and maintenance. Indicatively, the following brands are mentioned (Avaya, Alcatel, Siemens, NEC, Panasonic, Nortel, Huawei, Yeastar-UC, Grandstream, Asterisk based systems & sub-systems etc).
  • Cisco Voice infrastructures (Collaboration, Unified Communication & Video Conferencing Solutions). The related scaled level of knowledge has to be presented and it will be evaluated – CCNP Collaboration (CLCOR, CLACCM, CLCEI, CLAUI) – Collaboration Conferencing (CLCNF) – CCNP Enterprise.
