About this role:
Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Credit Product Portfolio Specialist based in Dublin to join our experienced Portfolio team within Channel Finance. This key role is responsible for the in-life management of assigned portfolio of accounts across a variety of countries ensuring the smooth running of the vendor extended term program, excellent customer service while maintaining risk focus. The role interfaces with many stakeholders including Relationship Management teams, Underwriting, Operations Team and counterparts in North America and APAC.
The role will work closely with Underwriting, Relationship Management and Operations teams to ensure the smooth delivery of Risk Controls & Customer Service in accordance with Channel Finance Procedures.

In this role, you will:
- This role is responsible for credit portfolio management to meet the long-term financial objectives and risk tolerance for commercial banking clients. Serves as a key member of a client's deal team.
- Daily operational support - Manage invoice issues-queries (EDI Incomplete Reports / Manual Booking), resolve with customer cash applications queries ( Unapplied Cash, CN & Unidentified Cash), submit fee waives & refunds requests.
- Vendor support - Reviewing / approving held vendor orders. Timely processing of increased credit line requests to Underwriting.
- Independently resolve moderately complex situations while developing a sound understanding of policies, procedures, and compliance requirements to meet business objectives and partner with senior peers for more complex issues. Resolve complex customer inquiries, billing errors, and disputes.
- Perform regular portfolio reviews to manage risk and lead problem loan resolutions, where applicable.
- Various internal portfolio/commercial reporting requirements.
- Collaborate and consult with peers and functional partners to resolve client servicing requests and inquiries related to their product
- Manage dealer onboarding phase (Coms / running of the contract)
- Support Relationship Management with ad hoc reporting/tasks/ and attend dealer / vendor meetings as required.
- Support Relationship Management team with account retention by assisting business growth. Assist in obtaining customer financial reports where required & participate in underwriting process.
- Focus on providing exceptional external and internal customer service - team player.
- Proactive in identifying system & process improvements/efficiencies.
- Develop working knowledge and undertake cross-training to support team members, providing cover during illness and holidays to maintain a strong customer experience.

- Experience in secured or specialized lending relationship management or portfolio management, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
- Background in Finance / Banking / Factoring / Customer Service
- Exceptional administrative skills and strong attention to detail - ability to manage and organise multiple work streams simultaneously, maintaining an excellent degree of accuracy.
- Strong communication and influencing skills in all mediums with the team & wider business - adapting content according to the audience. Develop relationships at all levels, work flexibly, share ideas and challenge self & others. Ability to relay required information clearly and succinctly to the customer; ability to listen to the customer and answer queries in a clear, diplomatic, and articulate manner; communicate directly with customers, vendors, Commercial & Risk contacts.
- Exceptional organisational skills - Effective time management in a fast-moving and demanding environment, planning, and working to tight deadlines, sharing any roadblocks or delays which can impact the customer or business performance. Ability to adapt in a changing and demanding environment.
- Experience of supporting projects, particularly in respect of process improvements and simplification. Demonstrate ability to work to a plan and provide regular progress updates.
- Highly self-motivated, competent of working independently, whilst retaining a committed 'team' attitude. Understanding effect of own deliverables on that of others and acting as required to prevent negative impact or delays.
