Job Description

In this Senior Associate Director role, you will be a key component in Client Trade Operations for a 12-month duration, serving as a key strategic partner in delivering exceptional service to our clients. You will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of business-as-usual operations and project delivery, whilst driving operational excellence, process improvement, and team leadership across the department. Reporting to the Executive Director, you will:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the primary escalation point for ensuring prompt and effective resolution to maintain high client satisfaction.
  • Oversee BAU and Project processes, ensuring delivery in line with client requirements and SLAs.
  • Identify and address high-risk operational areas, implementing enhancements to strengthen controls and efficiency.
  • Lead system improvement, automation, and process optimisation projects with team members, management, and IT.
  • Develop and enforce departmental policies and procedures aligned with company and regulatory standards.
  • Foster a positive team culture and promote MUFG's core values: Trust, Challenge & Empowerment, Passion for Clients, and Openness and Honesty.
  • Represent the department in internal and external meetings.
  • Oversee management reporting, billing, and fee collection, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  • Co-ordinate the execution of project-related activities including process and procedure updates, system development and testing, and documentation and roll-out of training and support materials.

Qualifications

  • Post-secondary education with a concentration in finance, accounting or related fields.
  • Ideally in possession of recognized Fund Services/Professional qualifications
  • Minimum 6 years of experience in the Fund Services industry, with extensive exposure to Fund Trading activities, Investor Account Openings and AML/KYC processes, and project delivery.
  • At least 2 years in a management role
