As an Account Manager you will manage your own portfolio of advertisers, driving both revenue and client satisfaction by ensuring our Microsoft Advertising offering is valued and understood, linking customers’ needs and objectives to our solutions, and building personable and trusting relationships that increase customer satisfaction. The Account Manager is a core member of the account team focused on driving data-driven optimisations aligned with client needs, executing campaigns, and driving solid coordination of internal resources for excellence in execution of core tasks, account transitions, and client account health.

Starting January 26, 2026, Microsoft AI (MAI) employees who live within a 50- mile commute of a designated Microsoft office in the U.S. or 25-mile commute of a non-U.S., country-specific location are expected to work from the office at least four days per week. This expectation is subject to local law and may vary by jurisdiction.


Responsibilities
  • As an expert in client accounts, you’ll ensure account health by proactively monitoring all activities, while seeking feedback to grow more of their business and creating long-term strategies to improve the client experience. You’ll also establish the business value of Microsoft’s advertising solutions by proactively developing  solid, comprehensive understanding of clients' marketing needs delivering advertising solutions into overall marketing strategy
  • You will leverage relationships with key client contacts and seek both formal and informal feedback to acquire, retain, and grow more of their business. You will identify and understand the drivers of satisfaction, help create long-term strategies to maintain client satisfaction, anticipate issues and risks, identify drivers of dissatisfaction, determine the root cause of problems, and remove blockers. You’ll establish recovery action plans to improve the client's overall experience.
  • To tailor your sales approach, you will adopt Microsoft sales strategies as you proactively leverage Unified Client Management (CRM) tools to increase performance, satisfaction, and upsell opportunities. You’ll also generate business and upsells by developing value-proposition presentations and specialized business plans for clients.
  • You will proactively develop a comprehensive understanding of clients’ marketing needs and their competition to anticipate their needs and deliver new insights to them. You’ll also proactively own and elevate relationships  throughout multiple levels at the customer’s organization.
  • You will act as a thought leader on industry trends, technology, and KPIs. You’ll also leverage competitive knowledge to elevate client’s success and create solutions that increase revenue.
  • You will create a collaborative, trust-based work environment where differences in communication style are considered, and the perspectives of others are respected and valued. You’ll demonstrate Microsoft’s culture of inclusiveness and diversity at all times. Contribute to the success of others by promoting mutual learning.
  • You will be comfortable managing a broad portfolio while knowing when to go deeper on high-impact opportunities.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

  • Master of Business Administration (MBA) Degree in Sales, Marketing, or related field AND relevant work experience (e.g., sales, advertising, or marketing with a focus on digital advertising)
    • OR Bachelor's Degree in Sales, Marketing, or related field AND relevant work experience (e.g., sales, advertising, or marketing with a focus on digital advertising)
    • OR relevant work experience (e.g., sales, advertising, or marketing with a focus on digital advertising)
    • OR equivalent experience.
  • Native/Fluent English and French language.
  • Paid search experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to consistently meet or exceed revenue goals or targets.
  • Proven ability to understand customer needs, create and deliver customised, customer-focused pitches and solutions.
  • Solid analytical skills.
  • Solid knowledge of the online advertising industry, trends, and customers’ needs.

Advertising Client Success IC4 - The typical base pay range for this role across Ireland is € 60,300.00 - € 102,600.00 per year. Certain roles may be eligible for benefits and other compensation.
