The Role - Senior Account Executive
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Account Executive to join our UK Sales Team. This individual will play a pivotal role in driving the growth strategy of a company that’s changing the world of media monitoring and social listening. The candidate must be a stand-out and demonstrate extreme curiosity with a passion for understanding the way news and social media are shaping the reputation and public perception of the world’s largest companies.
Key Considerations and Responsibilities:
- Passionate: Have a strong interest in the world of news and social media, fascinated by the world’s breaking stories, waking up every day thinking about how news is shaping the perceptions of global brands
- Creative: Take a creative approach to identifying potential customers and designing insightful demos & workshops for specific client challenges and use cases
- Hands On: Eager to learn and use the product to gain the valuable insights needed to help the largest companies in the world make good decisions and minimize crises and reputational risks
- Strategic: Have a thoughtful approach to developing and executing a sales plan designed for our most strategic buyers and personas
- Curious and Hungry: Loves dissecting complex problems and finding solutions, never stops asking questions until all aspects of the problem are fully understood and the impact is quantifiable
- Strategic Relationship Building: Known for building deep relationships and making an impact across all levels of the organization from users to key stakeholders and decision makers
- Solution Oriented: Present and articulate the value of NewsWhip’s platform and solutions focusing on ROI/strategic impact and overcoming budget constraints
- You have a proven track record in enterprise sales, have a good eye for spotting enterprise relationship potential and structuring strategic deals to realize that potential. You take risks and aren’t afraid to fail and learn from your failures
Bonus points for candidates who have:
- Industry knowledge - familiarity with the media monitoring space because you have worked in this space or used media monitoring tools in the past
- Business Development experience -You started your career as a BDR/SDR or have managed a BDR/SDR team in the past
- Media Insights, Brand Experience: You have experience selling software and media insights solutions to large, sophisticated global brands
- Technical Experience: You have experience selling complex technical solutions and are very comfortable with new technologies
