A Day in the LifeThis role is responsible for driving sales of the full Operating Room Essentials (ORE) portfolio, covering Sutures, Access, Instruments, and Electrosurgery, across a defined territory in Ireland and Northern Ireland. The successful candidate will manage the regional sales pipeline and customer accounts, delivering results through a professional, solution-oriented approach. Collaboration with fellow Surgical Territory Managers and the ConnectMe (CME) remote sales team is essential to ensure seamless execution and customer support.

Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned:

  • Meet ORE sales targets and build a robust pipeline within the assigned territory
  • Lead suture conversion initiatives, leveraging strong knowledge of the UK suture market
  • Provide flexible national support for ORE conversions and assist with scrubbing in hybrid accounts when required
  • Drive business growth and deliver product support across the ORE portfolio, collaborating with cross-functional teams
  • Manage sales activities across HSE and private hospitals within the defined region
  • Work collaboratively with the Regional Sales Manager, peers, and CME Remote Team to achieve shared objectives
  • Represent the business at meetings, workshops, and events, including occasional out-of-hours commitments
  • Promote and facilitate professional education initiatives within the field

Required Knowledge and Experience:

  • Successful sales record within secondary care, specifically in operating room settings
  • Strong track record of effective cross-functional collaboration
  • In-depth knowledge of the HSE purchasing framework
  • Proven ability to negotiate confidently with a range of stakeholders, including senior hospital decision-makers
  • Keen eye for identifying business opportunities, with the ability to influence and persuade effectively
  • Valid Driving License
