To date, we’ve raised $40M to solve the toughest problems in the data privacy space. As we scale, we’re building a top-tier sales team—and we’re looking for a Sales Engineer to be a key technical partner in closing enterprise deals.

You’ll be working directly with senior data engineering and legal leaders at major enterprises, guiding them through complex technical evaluations. Here, your expertise will shape how the world’s biggest companies build privacy-first systems.

What You’ll Do
  • Own the technical sales process, from discovery to proof-of-concept to close

  • Work closely with AEs and SDRs in a pod structure to drive enterprise deals

  • Lead product demos, technical deep dives, and architecture discussions

  • Translate complex privacy engineering concepts into real business value

  • Collaborate with Product and Engineering to shape Ethyca’s roadmap based on customer needs

  • Join the industry’s open-source thought leader at a major inflection point

What We’re Looking For
  • 4+ years in a technical, enterprise pre-sales or sales engineering role

  • Deep understanding of enterprise software, data infrastructure, and APIs

  • Strong ability to explain complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences fluently and empathetically

  • Experience working with developers, data engineers, and legal teams in enterprise settings to tackle tough problems

  • Proficiency with modern data architectures and cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure)

  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills
