As a Revenue Accountant at ICON, you will manage financial analysis and reporting related to clinical trials, contributing directly to the advancement of innovative treatments and therapies.

What You Will Do:

You will contribute to account management and client services activities, taking responsibility for your deliverables and working collaboratively.
Key responsibilities include:

  • Reviewing and analysing revenue recognition for clinical trial contracts in compliance with accounting standards.

  • Collaborating with project teams to understand contract terms and milestones for revenue recognition.

  • Preparing and maintaining accurate revenue schedules and reconciliations.

  • Supporting external audits and providing documentation for revenue recognition processes.

  • Participating in process improvement initiatives to enhance revenue accounting procedures.

Your Profile:

You will bring relevant account management and client services experience, along with the following qualifications and skills. The role will ideally suit a newly/recently qualified accountant.
Required qualifications and experience:

  • Qualified Accountant - ACA/ACCA/CIMA

  • Previous experience in revenue accounting or financial analysis, preferably in the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry would be advantageous.

  • Strong understanding of revenue recognition principles and accounting standards (e.g., ASC 606).

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle).

  • Detail-oriented with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
