Job Description

Turner & Townsend are leaders in professional services to the Data Centre sector globally. Due to the continued success and expansion of our Data Centre business in Germany we are currently recruiting for a Quality Lead to join our Data Centre team in Fredericia.

With a market leading client base and the opportunity to take the lead on strategic commissions and high-profile projects, this is an exciting time to join the business unit and grow a career with Turner & Townsend.

  • Close liaison with Client’s representative to fulfil the project’s quality requirements​
  • Establish and maintain good coordination with Contractors and Consultants​
  • Plan and allocate QC resources to do witness on-site and off-site inspections proposed by Contractors​
  • Perform audit/ field inspection to Contractors as requested by the Client​
  • Review and/ or approve all ITP and Checklist​
  • Perform site walk with Client and or Consultant to ensure quality requirements are met.​
  • Recruiting qualified QC personnel as required​
  • Plan for witnessing the commissioning based on the available resources​
  • Present the quality related issue to the Client weekly and escalate any significant issue for resolution​
  • Attend & ensure Kick off Meeting of vendors are performed​
  • Attend weekly coordination meeting with Client, Consultants and Contractors ​
  • Attend specific weekly coordination meeting with Contractors, vendors, consultants and Clients in regard to resolution of technical issues​
  • Review contractors’ QC resources to ensure they are qualified for inspecting the works​
  • Generate weekly report of Quality for the Client​
  • Establish and review weekly QC activity plan of all QC personnel  ​
  • Generate and review QC daily report ​
  • Lead QAQC meeting with Contractors weekly​
  • Lead Internal QAQC meeting with all QC personnel of all projects​
  • Ensure all quality dossier have been put into Client’s documentation system​
  • Validate or review the As built drawings generated by Contractors​
  • Conduct Performance evaluation for all QC personnel as planned

Qualifications

  • Min 10 years of construction experience, min 5 years of direct experience in QC and or Commissioning, experience with construction scheduling, experience in project administration and or project management, experience in managing a quality program
  • 5 years’ experience in Data Center facility maintenance, operation and/or construction​
  • A Bachelor’ degree in engineering or a related field is considered beneficial for the role​
  • Proficiency with a variety of related computer software applications including MS Office (Excel, Outlook, Project, Word) is required. Experience and proficiency with online document management applications is a strong plus​
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills​
  • Manufacturing or industry QAQC formal qualification is preferred​
  • Consultant PM experience specifically with a background delivering best in class large scale mission critical projects and have a detailed knowledge of Data Centre pre-construction, build to and handover / commissioning as well as post turn over processes
