The Director, Cost Management Lead will secure new business opportunities, oversee recruitment, lead the cost management function, and ensure high-quality delivery and client relations in Europe.

Lead BIM across project lifecycles: develop BIM requirements (OIRs, AIRs, EIRs, PIRs), define implementation strategy, manage BIM execution and information management, perform model assurance, data verification and visualization, manage BIM coordinator teams, chair workshops, and report on BIM compliance and risks.

Lead and deliver on-site technical projects for AkzoNobel from request to completion. Manage scope, stakeholders, contractors and safety for works in HVAC, lab equipment, roofing, electrical and security. Maintain project control, progress reporting, administration and ensure safe execution while coordinating with CBRE GWS and client teams.

Provide contracts and procurement advice for large capital construction projects, support contract development and administration, manage stakeholder inputs, maintain trackers, and help grow contract services capabilities while delivering team and business targets.

Lead and manage QA/QC and commissioning activities for data centre construction projects: coordinate with clients, contractors and consultants; plan and allocate QC resources; perform audits, inspections and witnessing; review ITPs, checklists and as-built drawings; generate QC reports and lead QA/QC meetings; recruit and evaluate QC personnel and ensure quality documentation and commissioning readiness.

Provide technical advice, prepare technical due diligence, inspect and verify electrical construction designs and as-built documentation, participate in facility acceptance, verify costs, and advise on contractor selection. Travel to sites as needed.

Lead cost management for medium-to-large construction projects (data centers preferred). Produce estimates and cost plans at all stages, manage procurement and bid analysis, control post-contract cost variances, perform valuations, deliver monthly cost reports, advise on value engineering and lifecycle costing, liaise with clients and consultants, and provide leadership to cost teams while identifying business development opportunities.

Provide technical advice and inspections for electrical installations, prepare Technical Due Diligence reports, verify designs and as-built documentation, participate in acceptance of works, verify costs, advise on contractor selection, and travel to sites for supervision and inspections.

Lead cost management for data center projects: interface with clients and consultants, produce estimates and cost plans, manage procurement and tendering, control post-contract cost variances, perform cost checks and payment recommendations, and deliver monthly cost reports.

Perform MEP technical due diligence and condition assessments for property transactions and developments. Review documents, inspect properties, estimate costs, verify compliance with regulations, prepare reports, support quality control, and develop feasibility studies. Collaborate across disciplines and travel within Austria as needed.

Manage and administer project EDMS (Asite preferred), provide user and document-control training, maintain workflows and container configuration, perform compliance audits, support project set-ups and data migrations, and act as primary EDMS contact for project stakeholders.

Lead commercial and contract management across the full lifecycle of large industrial/Data Centre construction projects. Develop tender and contract strategies, manage PQQs/tender evaluations, oversee variations, claims and disputes, coordinate with procurement and legal, perform financial reporting and forecasting, and communicate contract status to stakeholders while maintaining comprehensive records.

Support procurement of major contracts (M400 and Project Delivery Partner) by developing procurement strategies, documents, specifications and contracts; coordinate tender clarification and evaluation, liaise with legal and directorate functions, manage procurement reporting, ensure compliance with EU procurement directives and Irish law, and support team resourcing and best-practice updates.

Manage MAC and small works projects for client accounts, ensuring QHSE compliance, on-time/on-budget delivery, supply-chain management, space and move planning, revenue generation, and reporting while promoting sustainability and MAC products.

Join a project team to perform cost planning, control and monitoring for major building projects. Support cost estimates and budgeting across project phases, conduct invoice checks and reporting, advise clients and coordinate with planning teams while gradually taking responsibility for subprojects.

Lead cost management and quantity surveying for construction projects (data centers preferred). Produce estimates and cost plans, manage procurement and valuations, monitor post-contract cost controls and change processes, present monthly reports, advise on value engineering, liaise with clients and lead cost teams when required.

Lead multi-disciplinary teams to deliver major data centre construction projects in Berlin, acting as primary client interface. Oversee project controls, procurement, permitting, construction, quality, EHS, commercial and claims management from design through close-out to meet time, cost, sustainability and safety targets.

Support the Risk Lead to implement and improve risk management processes across programmes and projects. Maintain risk registers and reporting, facilitate workshops, support quantitative risk analysis, ensure data quality and traceability, and promote consistent risk practices with stakeholders and contractors.

Develop and maintain resource-loaded Primavera P6 schedules for projects and an integrated master programme. Create critical-path, cost-loaded schedules, perform contractor schedule reviews, assess change impacts, support earned value analysis and cash flow forecasting, produce programme reports, and facilitate cross-project scheduling coordination with stakeholders and SMEs.
