About the Team & Business Line:

As a core member of our Projects and Governance Team (PGT), you will be working with some of the industry’s most accomplished professionals to deliver award-winning services for complex fund structures that our clients can depend upon.

Reporting to the Vice President, the Project Manager is part of a global team supporting CFS Operations and the Transformation Office.  This role will involve working with management and various teams across Citco and be responsible for assisting with the execution and time management skills as assignments will be varied with competing deadlines, at times requiring a quick turn-around.

PGT is charged with providing multiple CFS Lines of Business units (Hedge, CAIS, Private Equity, Real Assets, Investor Relations, and Ancillary Servies) with project management governance when executing initiatives that benefit the larger CFS Organisation.  PGT provides a structured framework and management information, allowing for timely escalation of issues and risks that impact the success of the initiatives. 

Responsibilities

Your Role:  

  • Lead and manage Transformation and business projects from initiation to implementation. 

  • Accountable for delivering medium to large projects on time, within defined scope and within budget. 

  • Responsible for project planning and stakeholder management across multiple teams and locations. 

  • Ensures project methodologies, project delivery processes and implementation management processes are followed. 

  • Accountable for project documentation including project plans, timelines, status reports, and issue/risk logs. 

  • Responsible for controlling and monitoring performance across all aspects of an assigned project.  

  • Provide support to the delivery stream and customers to define business requirements while taking ownership for delivering quality solutions. 

  • Responsible for the prioritization of all project tasks. 

  • Participate in operations meetings to understand and document current state (as-is) operational processes and new (to-be) business solutions. 

  • Identify and engage with correct stakeholders to identify risk and develop effective mitigation solutions. 

  • Communicate clearly and proactively with stakeholders, tailoring message to audience, in both written and verbal methods. 

  • Schedule periodic project status review and governance calls and prepare status reports and roll out periodically. 

  • Effectively manage, coordinate and conduct meetings/conference calls. 

  • Manage, develop and coach staff providing timely feedback. 

  • Ensure team reporting is completed in an accurate and timely manner. 

Qualifications

About You: 

  • Bachelors /Masters Degree in Finance. 
  • 6-8 years’ experience with at least 4 years of core experience Business Projects.  
  • Proven understanding of full project management lifecycle and workflows.
  • Project Management Certification (PMP or Prince II) (A plus). 
  • A degree of flexibility for occasional business-related travel is expected. 
  • Proficient experience in MS Office.  Strong Excel skills desirable.
