Job Description

We are currently seeking a Project Director (m/f/d) for major Data Centre construction projects in Berlin. In this role, you will act as the key, day to day client interface, ensuring that our client objectives are not only met, but exceeded wherever possible and that projects are delivered to time and cost targets and the appropriate high level of quality, sustainability, and safety standards.  

In this role you will lead a multi-disciplinary team and drive performance through design development, permitting and approvals, procurement and ultimately construction.

 As the Project Director you will oversee, manage and lead a team providing the following services: 

  • Overall Project Management
  • Project Controls
  • Preconstruction Activities
  • Environmental, Health & Safety Activities
  • Construction Management
  • Quality Management
  • Commercial Management
  • Claims Management
  • Procurement
  • Project Execution Support
  • Project Close-out. 

Qualifications

  • University degree in a construction related field
  • Extensive experience delivering major projects and/or programmes, at least 5 years experiences in the Data Centre Sector
  • Experience to include Project Director, Construction Director within a PMC, EPCM, Construction Management Environment or as a General Contractor
  • Understanding of project management and project controls methodology 
  • Proactive, meticulous, self-motivated and hands-on team player 
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills essential, ability to communicate well with clients and senior management 
  • Fluent language skills in German and English are required 
  • Willingness to work on site (min. 3 days a week)
