Ayvens Insurance currently has a vacancy for a Project Accountant to support the Finance Function with the company’s transformation and project agenda.  The role will report to the Head of Finance Operations.

Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

  • Support the transformation and project agenda of the company and the finance function
  • Identify, design and document improvements to controls, processes and procedures
  • Preparation of reports for the Head of Finance Operations and Finance Director
  • Collaborate with stakeholders in the Ayvens and Societe Generale Groups as required
  • Assisting and supporting the wider finance teams during peak periods e.g. financial and regulatory reporting, planning process, etc.
  • Assisting with internal and external audits and reviews
  • Support the team with updates to and implementation of IT solutions
  • Ad-hoc duties within the finance team

Knowledge /Skills

  • Qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) with 2+ years’ PQE
  • Advanced Microsoft Office user, with familiarity of reporting and visualisation tools (e.g. Power BI)
  • Insurance experience is preferred
  • Attention to detail with a desire to continually improve systems and processes
  • Self-starter and comfortable in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to work to tight deadlines and prioritise tasks
  • Team player that interacts well with both team members and other stakeholders
  • Strong communication and a collaborative mindset
