We're hiring an experienced Programme Lead to drive the successful delivery of a large-scale operational transformation programme within a complex, customer-facing environment. This is a business transformation leadership role focused on delivering sustainable operational change through process redesign, organisational change management, technology enablement and stakeholder adoption.
The role will lead the end-to-end delivery, integration and embedding of multiple transformation workstreams spanning operational processes, self-serve technologies, frontline tooling and ways of working. Success will be measured not only by delivery milestones, but by the adoption of new capabilities and the realisation of business outcomes across operational teams/
The successful candidate will bring extensive experience leading complex business transformation programmes, with a strong track record of delivering process change and organisational change initiatives in operational environments. They will be able to articulate and demonstrate how they have driven stakeholder engagement, behavioural change, operational readiness and business adoption throughout programme lifecycles.
Please note: this role operates on a hybrid working mode, with 2 days per week onsite in North Dublin.
Key responsibilities & duties include:
Programme Leadership & Governance:
- Lead the end-to-end delivery of a complex, multi-stream transformation programme
- Establish and maintain integrated programme plans aligned to business priorities and funding
- Drive programme governance, including Steering Committees and executive reporting
- Act as the central point of accountability for programme delivery, risks and overall health
Business Programme Management:
- Translate strategic objectives into delivery-ready roadmaps and actionable plans
- Manage programme financials, benefits tracking, and value realisation
- Oversee dependencies, risks and delivery trade-offs within a live operational environment
- Coordinate internal teams and third-party suppliers to ensure delivery milestones are achieved
Operational Change & Adoption:
- Lead the overall change and adoption strategy across the programme
- Drive business readiness, stakeholder engagement, communication and adoption activities
- Ensure change management and people impacts are fully integrated into programme delivery plans
- Partner with business leaders to embed new processes, ways of working, and operational capabilities
- Support employee consultation, engagement, and change impact assessment activities where required
- Monitor adoption, behavioural change, and business outcomes following implementation
Operational Readiness & Transition:
- Own operational readiness, cutover and transition planning
- Ensure technology and process changes translate into operational capability
- Oversee go-live activities, hypercare support, and post-implementation stabilisation
- Monitor adoption, performance, and business outcomes following deployment
Stakeholder & Supplier Management:
- Build trusted relationships with senior stakeholders and operational leaders
- Resolve cross-functional delivery and prioritisation challenges
- Coordinate effectively across suppliers, technology teams, and operational functions
Required Experience:
- 10+ years experience leading large-scale business or operational transformation programmes in complex environments
- Demonstrable experience delivering significant process redesign and operational improvement initiatives
- Strong organisational change management capability, including stakeholder engagement, adoption planning, business readiness, and embedding change
- Proven track record of leading business-led transformation programmes where technology formed part of the broader change agenda
- Strong experience managing multi-stream programmes, cross-functional teams and third-party suppliers
- Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and engage senior leaders, operational teams and frontline employees
- Strong executive communication, governance and reporting experience
- Experience operating within fast-paced, operational, customer-facing or regulated environments
- Ability to balance transformation objectives with operational continuity and business performance
Desirable Experience:
- Experience within aviation, logistics, transport, infrastructure or similarly operational industries
- Formal organisational change management qualifications or certifications (e.g. Prosci, APMG Change Management, CIPD or equivalent)
- Experience delivering technology-enabled business transformation programmes with measurable operational outcomes
