We are looking for a Product Owner to work alongside our Data & Insights team, ensuring high-quality stories and requirements.
Our Product Owners need to understand the business issues and challenges of eCommerce, from online marketing to logistics. Working with internal team members and external customers, gather and assess product requirements, help prioritise them and communicate them to the development teams.
Responsibilities- Gather product requirements
- Create well written user stories, including defining acceptance criteria.
- Work with Product Managers and Product Analysts to create supporting documentation for roadmap items.
- Prioritising stories and ensuring alignment with the Product Roadmap.
- Identify constraints and dependencies between Product Teams.
- Communicate and connect with other Product Owners and team members across various business functions.
- Support requirement refinement and delivery planning sessions.
- Leverage a variety of sources to help complete the requirement definition.
- Participate and support the demonstration of new features to customers and team members.
- Lead unplanned work without impacting committed, high priority deliverables
- Bachelor or master’s degree or equivalent experience in a Computer Science, Engineering or Analytical field.
- Proven track record of working in the product delivery space in an agile/scrum environment, ideally 3+ years in a Product Owner role.
- Experience in or knowledge of retail eCommerce, order management or finance/logistics products is a plus.
- Experience working with external customers.
- Strong technical background and detail orientated
- Ability to understand, interpret and document data structures, data flows, and data models
- Familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g., Looker, Tableau, Power BI)
- Knowledge of data stewardship, metadata management, and compliance (e.g., GDPR).
- Scrum Certified Product Owner or SAFE 4/5 certified would be beneficial.
- Excellent problem solving, communication and organisation skills.
- Self-motivated and results driven with a high level of initiative and desire to get things done.
