Product Owner

The successful candidate will have a passion for product management, experience working with teams through the full cycle of product development from research & validation, requirements & design, delivery & measurement and ultimately clear value outcomes for customers. They will lead their squad to build the right solutions iteratively to bring our products and services to the next level. 

Requirements 

• Own the product, focused on our third party connections, accountable for setting the product vision, key metrics and prioritizing a roadmap to deliver those outcomes 

• Accountable to deliver the roadmap, working with engineering 

• Accountable to drive iterative value through a test and learn approach; ability to demonstrate value growth over time 

• Focus on the product lifecycle and end to end customer experiences 

• Deliver
  structural and incremental growth 

• Work with internal business teams & Technology teams, alongside your Product colleagues to meet and exceed KPIs and revenue targets 

• Determine requirements for each release based on user requirements, technical architecture, and business needs 

• Produce and communicate product requirements using Agile methodologies, including requirement specifications, user stories, wire frames & prototypes and ensure they are backed by customer insights and data informed decision making 

• Create and maintain a backlog of initiatives and execute this through A/B testing, data analysis and validation of underlying hypotheses and business cases. You will also be responsible for ensuring the prioritized initiatives align with our product strategy and vision. 

• Monitor and analyse customer behavior and product performance throughout and after every initiative through A/B testing and measure against KPI's, to ensure that our technology investments are successful.  

Essential Competencies/ skills : 

• Core Product Management skills, with experience in an online sector 

• Experience working within a web development team in Agile 

• Ability to gather user data from data, user behaviour and research to prioritize opportunities 

• Deep understanding of driving iterative growth through A/B testing 

• Experience with data analysis and Excel 

• Great communication skills. Ability to engage in debate and challenge with a wide variety of stakeholders of varying seniority 

• Able to manage a multitude of parallel initiatives and experience managing multiple stakeholders 

• Keen understanding of online and mobile business models and technologies 

• Able to identify user needs and translate them into online and mobile product strategies 

• A sound commercial understanding and experience balancing user and business needs 

• Relevant Bachelor’s degree from a leading university

• Exceptional communication and organization skills: You can manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment  

• Ability to balance attention to detail with swift execution. We need to do things quickly, and we need to do them well 

• Must have fluent in spoken and written business English (additional European language is an advantage)
