We're looking for a Product Owner to join our customers Marketing & Communications team, playing a key role in shaping how we engage with customers across digital channels. This role will own the roadmap and delivery of marketing and communication products including emails, SMS, Salesforce Marketing Cloud and disruption management communication.
As Product Owner, you'll act as the link between Marketing, Digital, and Technology teams, ensuring personalised, timely delivery of relevant communications that enhance the customers experience and support the company's commercial objectives.
Please note: This is a hybrid role, requiring you to be onsite with our customer in Dublin 1-2 days a week.
Required Skills:
- Proven experience as a Product Owner within marketing, digital communications, or CRM environments
- Strong understanding of Salesforce Marketing Cloud
- Experience managing emails, SMS, and digital customer communication product end to end
- Solid grasp of Agile principles and hands on experience running ceremonies and managing backlogs
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills - comfortable liaising between marketing, IT, and leadership teams
- Analytical mindset with the ability to use data to measure success and drive continuous improvement
Key responsibilities & duties include:
- Own and manage the product backlog for all marketing and communication initiatives, including email, SMS, and Salesforce Marketing Cloud
- Partner closely with Marketing, Customer Experience, and IT teams to define requirements and prioritise work based on business value and customer impact
- Lead backlog refinement, sprint planning, and review sessions with Agile delivery teams
- Translate business objectives into clear user stories, acceptance criteria, and success measures
- Oversee the delivery of disruption management communications to ensure timely and accurate updates to customers
- Use data and insights to monitor campaign performance, identify areas of opportunities for optimisation, and guide product enhancements
- Act as a subject matter expert for Salesforce Cloud Marketing, advising on functionality and best practices for customer communication journeys
Desirable Skills:
- Experience within aviation, travel, or large consumer-facing organisations
- Experience working within a SAFe environment, or SAFe certification
