Team/Role Overview:
WorldLink is an industry leading cross-border payments solution which allows clients to execute cross-border/cross-currency payments, providing global access, integrated FX, and payment optionality in the form of various payment methods.
The role will focus on end-to-end product oversight and accountability for the core product payout capabilities. The role will involve close collaboration with cluster and country product, functional partners, to ensure an uninterrupted client offering, along with strategic planning to ensure robust and future ready capabilities that meet evolving client expectations.
What you’ll do:
- Responsible for product management, oversight, development, enhancements, product gap remediation and strategy, involving co-ordination with a diverse range of stakeholders.
- Innovate and evolve the product payments offering to provide clients with best-in-class solutions that enhance the client experience.
- Analyze product effectiveness, competition and positioning in the market and proactively drive initiatives to maintain Citi’s leadership position.
- Initiate and drive transformational change, process improvements, department initiatives to optimize operational aspects of the product.
- Influence and negotiate with senior leaders across functions and external parties to drive positive outcomes.
- Develops detailed work plans, schedules, business and investment proposals, project estimates and status reports.
- Strong Risk and Compliance focus, proactively assessing and managing product risks, across regions / work streams. Ensuring timely escalation and mitigation of the risks to avoid client and operational impacts.
- A strong commercial focus to influence yearly growth targets and longer-term projections.
- Act as a product expert to support and influence key client deals and foster strategic relationships.
What we’ll need from you:
- Significant experience, preferably in a product ownership role.
- Excellent communication skills, with an ability to communicate complex concepts clearly and adapt communication to suit the audience.
- Ability to motivate, negotiate, and influence colleagues across businesses, regions and cultures around a common goal.
- Strategic mindset with the ability to conceptualize and execute on the business vision.
- Demonstrated intellectual curiosity, proactively identifying and developing new opportunities.
- Attention to detail and process/analytical mindset
- Able to work in a fast-moving environment and part of a dynamic global team.
- Ability to handle situations which can be challenging - retaining control to guide other parts of the organization and/or make clear recommendations to management.
- Excellent people management and leadership skills.
- Undergraduate Degree/Third Level Qualification. Masters in a Business discipline is preferred.
