The role remains closely involved through delivery, partnering with Engineering to ensure that shipped solutions meet a high standard for quality, usability, and performance.
As a strong individual contributor, this position owns design within the squad and is accountable for delivering experiences that are both high-quality and effective in achieving measurable outcomes.

What you'll do as a Product Designer:

    • Own design within a cross-functional squad, accountable for the experience and performance of a defined channel
    • Identify and prioritise opportunities to improve user journeys, reduce friction, and increase conversion
    • Drive continuous optimisation through experimentation—defining hypotheses, designing solutions, and iterating based on results
    • Balance short-term optimisation with longer-term, hypothesis-driven discovery—ensuring a continuous pipeline of high-impact opportunities
    • Collaborate closely with Product Managers, Engineers, and Product Insights to translate data and user needs into effective solutions
    • Design high-quality interaction and visual experiences, with strong attention to detail, edge cases, and real-world use
    • Use data, analytics, and user research to inform decisions and measure impact
    • Present work to internal stakeholders and external partners, using feedback to refine and improve outcomes
    • Ensure consistency and scalability through effective use of the design system
    • Stay closely involved through delivery, partnering with engineering to ensure a high standard of quality in what ships
    • Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external partners, using collaboration and feedback to drive better outcomes
    • Facilitate and participate in critiques and design reviews, helping to raise the quality bar across the team
    • Share learnings, experiment results, and best practices with the wider design and product teams

What you'll bring to the team:

  • 3-5 years experience in product design, with a strong portfolio of shipped work

  • Relevant third-level qualification in Product Design, UX/UI, Interaction Design, or a related field, or equivalent industry experience

  • Additional certifications in UX, accessibility, service design, experimentation, or product management would be advantageous

  • Proven track record of delivering measurable impact through design, improving metrics such as conversion, engagement, retention, or revenue

  • Experience owning the end-to-end design process, from discovery and problem framing through to delivery and iteration

  • Strong discovery capability, using research, data, and insights to identify and prioritise high-impact opportunities

  • Experience leveraging data and experimentation (e.g. A/B testing, analytics tools) to inform decisions and evaluate outcomes

  • Ability to balance user needs, business goals, and technical constraints to drive effective product decisions

  • High level of design craft across UX, interaction, and visual design, with strong attention to usability and accessibility

  • Experience designing for web and/or mobile products

  • Experience working with, or contributing to, design systems to ensure consistency and scalability
