How you will contribute:
- Lead the introduction of a new API process, including preparation and execution of process validation activities.
- Act as the technical Subject Matter Expert, assessing critical parameters and implementing control strategies.
- Conduct laboratory experiments to support technology transfer and process optimization.
- Provide technical guidance to manufacturing teams to ensure efficient and compliant operations.
- Support risk assessments for manufacturing and cleaning procedures in line with safety and quality standards.
- Ensure all activities comply with cGMP, HSE regulations, and internal quality systems, including accurate documentation.
- Actively participate in training, continuous improvement initiatives, and cross-functional problem-solving efforts.
In this position you will report to the Head of Manufacturing Science.
What you bring to Takeda:
- PhD in Synthetic Organic Chemistry with 3-5 years of experience in pharmaceutical process development.
- Demonstrated success in API technology transfers, including validation and scale-up.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills within complex, regulated environments.
- Self-motivated and proactive, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Excellent communicator, skilled at conveying technical information across teams.
- Flexible and adaptable, capable of managing shifting priorities and project demands.
