    Job Description

    The opportunity

    There couldn’t be a more exciting time to join the Frasers Group business as we continue to grow our retail estate and launch new brands. We are looking for a Payroll Administrator to join the payroll team, responsible for managing weekly and monthly payrolls for our ROI & NI retail estate, with more than 2000 employees.

    Responsibilities

    • Checking hourly paid employees pay is correct against T&A system, and resolve any pay queries efficiently.
    • Liaising with various stakeholders regarding exceptions e.g. paperwork, hours worked, holiday, sick pay entitlements
    • Processing payroll data on a weekly basis in an accurate, on-time, compliant manner
    • Collaborating with the human resources department to maintain employee data
    • Calculating holiday pay, sick pay and other statutory payments
    • Processing new starters, leavers, calculating salary changes including back pay and pro-rata’s where required, along with calculating final payments for leavers including accrued holiday entitlement.
    • Answering queries relating timesheets, payslips and other payroll matters

    Qualifications

    • Knowledge and experience of providing generalist payroll advice at all levels
    • In-depth understanding of tax and employment rules and regulations
    • Attention to detail and strong numeracy skills
    • The ability to cope with high value transactions and work effectively towards deadlines
    • Strong verbal and written communication skills
    • Strong organisational and time management skills
    • Ability to prioritise tasks effectively
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook
    • Knowledge of Kronos and/or Mega pay would be an advantage.
    • 1-2 years of experience in a Payroll Admin or similar role
