This hybrid position requires two days per week in our Dublin office. About You

About the Role
As a Billing Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of the company’s billing operations. You will be responsible for managing invoicing processes, resolving billing discrepancies, and ensuring timely payments. Your role will involve working closely with members of the accounts receivable team to reconcile accounts, review contracts, and prepare detailed financial reports as needed.
You will regularly interact with internal and external customers to address billing queries, assist in disputes, and provide exceptional customer service. As part of this position, you will also contribute to improving and streamlining billing procedures, helping to maintain operational excellence.
About your Skills
- Proven Experience: A minimum of two years in a billing analyst role, demonstrating a solid understanding of billing processes.
- Analytical Mindset: You excel in identifying patterns, inconsistencies, and opportunities for process improvement within financial data.
- Attention to Detail: Precision is your priority. You meticulously review invoices, contracts, and payments to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Financial Acumen: Solid understanding of accounting principles, billing systems, and financial reporting.
- Technical Skills: Skilled in using ERP systems, and Excel, with the ability to manipulate large datasets and create detailed reports. Experience with NetSuite and Salesforce is a plus.
- Problem-Solving: You can quickly identify and resolve discrepancies, ensuring smooth operations and satisfied clients.
- Communication Skills: You effectively communicate complex billing issues to both internal teams and external clients, tailoring your message based on the audience.
- Time Management: With strong organizational skills, you manage competing priorities and meet strict deadlines in a high-volume billing environment.
Collaboration: A team player, you work closely with finance, sales, and customer service departments to ensure alignment and efficiency across billing processes.
What you'll be doing
- Invoice Generation: Prepare and issue accurate invoices based on contracts and service agreements, ensuring timely delivery to customers.
- Account Reconciliation: Regularly reconcile billing accounts to ensure payments are correctly applied and discrepancies are addressed.
- Customer Support: Address and resolve customer billing inquiries and disputes professionally and efficiently, providing excellent customer service.
- Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including finance, sales, and operations, to ensure accurate billing and proper contract interpretation
- Reporting: Generate and analyze financial and billing reports for management, highlighting key metrics and trends.
- Compliance: Ensure that all billing activities are in line with company policies and industry regulations.
