Are you our new Payments Specialist?
As a Payment Specialist at Intrum in Athens you will play a crucial role in accurate and timely execution of payments services for countries across the Intrum business. You will provide support and resolve queries to internal customers relating to the payments process as well as participate in the execution of relevant process improvement initiatives.
What will you do:
- Timely and accurate execution of payments to Intrum’s vendors and employees
- Successful migration of Payment processes into the Finance CoE for Intrum entities serviced by the CoE
- Positive and constructive relationships with key stakeholders across all functions and most importantly with Procurement and AP
- Ensure all processes in place and service delivery as per definition to maintain the right level of company's risk exposure.
- Adherence to SPA’s meeting or exceeding set targets
- Contribution to the standing and input of the CoE as a whole
- Form action plans to address Internal Control Framework and audit findings relating to payment processes
What we’re looking for:
- Proven experience, preferably gained in a fast moving, multinational company
- Sound knowledge of the Accounts Payable process including the Payments process
- Experience of service delivery to internal and external customers within SLA’s
- Ability to work across various levels of the business, including effective communication with people of different backgrounds and skill levels
- High standard of written and verbal communication skills both Greek and English
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Strong focus in providing the highest level of customer service to both internal and external customers
It’s a plus if you bring :
- Experience in ERPs and knowledge of Workday
