As a Manager, Financial Business Partnering at ICON, you will oversee financial operations, budgeting, and reporting for our clinical research projects.

What You Will Do:

You will manage day-to-day finance and financial management activities, supporting your team to deliver quality outcomes.
Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing the preparation and analysis of financial reports, budgets, and forecasts for clinical projects.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to provide financial insights that inform decision-making and project strategies.
  • Ensuring compliance with financial policies, accounting standards, and regulatory requirements.
  • Overseeing accounts payable and receivable processes, ensuring timely and accurate financial transactions.
  • Identifying opportunities for process improvements and implementing best practices in financial management.

Your Profile:

You will have solid finance and financial management experience, with the ability to manage competing priorities and develop your team.
Required qualifications and experience:

  • Qualified Accountant - ACA/ACCA/CIMA
  • Degree in finance, accounting, or a related field; CPA or CMA is a plus.
  • Significant experience in finance management, preferably within the healthcare or clinical research sectors.
  • Strong knowledge of financial analysis, budgeting, and accounting principles.
  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data and present it clearly.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with a collaborative approach to working with diverse teams.

Desirable experience:

  • Understanding in US government accounting.
  • Good knowledge of fringe benefit calculations.
  • Understanding in Intercompany invoice issues handling
  • Balance sheet reconciliation and clearance
  • Preparing and posting Month end journals .
