Job Description
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Legal Executive to join our team, supporting key conveyancing operations and contributing to the smooth running of our legal processes.
Role Overview
The Legal Executive will play a key role in supporting the conveyancing team, assisting with property acquisitions and sales, and preparing accurate legal and administrative outputs.
Key Responsibilities
- Initial review of title deeds received to prepare contracts and related conveyancing documents.
- Arranging signing meetings with clients and issuing signed documents post-meeting.
- Stamping and registering deeds post completion of purchases.
- Liaise professionally with clients, solicitors, and external stakeholders to progress matters in a timely manner.
- Maintain and update a comprehensive tracker of all active conveyancing cases.
- Assist with the drafting of deeds of release and discharge.
- Prepare and process invoices in accordance with internal procedures.
- Ensure all documentation is produced with a high level of accuracy, confidentiality, and compliance.
- Utilise Microsoft Word and Excel to prepare documents and manage data effectively.
- 4 days a week in the office
Qualifications
Skills & Experience Required
- A minimum of 3 years’ experience in a conveyancing role is essential
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Exceptional organisational skills with meticulous attention to detail.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritise effectively, and work to deadlines.
- Professional, reliable, and proactive approach to work.
- Commitment to maintaining high standards of accuracy and client service.
