Job Description

Europcar, Ireland's largest car rental company, is continuing its nationwide car sales growth and are looking for a Junior Trade Sales Administrator to support our high volume vehicle sales. With access to over 8,000 cars and vans, all makes and models, we are fast becoming Ireland's favourite used car seller. 

This role is focused on the sale of ex rental vehicles to the Trade Motor Industry. This is a permanent full-time position, and the ideal candidate will have previous experience in the mobility or automotive sector ideally with some sales experience. You must demonstrate flexibility and willingness to learn new skills. The role is primarily Cloghran based but travel is required. 40 hours working week Monday to Friday but with some weekend work required based on business needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Be aware of daily requirements and complete workload in a timely manner.

  • Manage all trade sales activity out of Dublin Airport and Cloghran.

  • Ensure all telematics devices are properly managed according to correct procedures for all sales vehicles.

  • Weekly sales stock checks and report and solve inaccuracies.

  • Manage the Trade Motors Website ensuring vehicle photos & details are added and support greater sales teams on weekly email activity  

  • Perform customer facing duties in an office-based environment.

  • Follow required processes to ensure all fleet records are accurate and reliable.

  • Using various sources, prospect for used car customers on a regular basis to create additional sales opportunities.

  • To actively develop new clients and manage existing clients.

  • Collections and Deliveries during busy periods when required.

  • Strong relationship building with internal and external stakeholders.

  • Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and safety guidelines. Responsible for own health and safety and that of other work colleagues.

Your Skills:

  • Previous experience in dealing with customers in the car trade sales business would be advantageous but not essential

  • Strong attention to detail and conscientious approach to work

  • Strong ability to Multi-task and manage pressure in fast paced environment.

  • You will be a fluent English speaker with a positive "Can Do" attitude.

  • A full B driving license is essential min of 2 years.

  • Product knowledge on car and van fleet.

  • Strong IT skills and proficient in Microsoft/Google packages (Outlook,Excel, Teams and Powerpoint)
