Job Description

At Turner & Townsend, we’re passionate about making a difference. In this role of Junior Project Manager, you’ll support the delivery of exciting real estate projects and build a strong foundation for your career in project management.  

As Junior Project Manager, you’ll have the chance to work on a diverse range of projects, which may include commercial offices and workplace fit-outs, retail and mixed-use developments, hospitality, education buildings and/or industrial and logistics developments. Projects can range from small refurbishments to large-scale, complex developments, often delivered in fast-paced and high-profile environments. 

You’ll work closely with experienced colleagues and clients, gaining hands-on exposure across the full project lifecycle. This role offers variety, responsibility and the opportunity to grow quickly in a collaborative environment. 

Key responsibilities include: 

  • Support the Project Manager in defining project success criteria, including time, cost, technical and performance parameters. 
  • Support the planning and coordination of quality, health, safety and environmental activities.  
  • Help establish effective project governance, processes and systems throughout the lifecycle.  
  • Monitor and document project progress and key performance indicators.  
  • Track and manage project risks, issues and changes.  
  • Conduct background research, data analysis and benchmarking.  
  • Prepare clear project reports and communication materials.  
  • Support coordination across project teams, consultants and stakeholders.  
  • Attend project meetings and prepare agendas, minutes and action trackers. 

Qualifications

  • Degree or equivalent in construction management, engineering, architecture, real estate or a related discipline. 
  • Some experience or internship exposure within project management, construction or real estate is preferred. 
  • Understanding of the project lifecycle and key project management principles. 
  • Awareness of project management tools and techniques. 
  • Strong organisational and communication skills. 
  • Proactive, detail-oriented and eager to learn. 
  • Ability to work well in a team and build relationships. 
  • Fluent in English and Swedish, with strong written and verbal communication skills.
