About the roleAs our Junior Key Account Manager, you will:
- Work alongside the Senior Key Account Manager, supporting the delivery of volume and profit targets across established Irish and Northern Irish accounts, as well as smaller independent customers.
- Drive high standards of Dyson brand execution, both in-store and online, coordinating with the Retail team and internal departments.
- Play a key role in developing and delivering Joint Business Plans with retail partners to achieve mutual growth.
- Manage costs and investments across your account portfolio, maximizing overall profitability.
- Take responsibility for day-to-day account management of independent customers: attending monthly and quarterly meetings, confirming joint plans, ensuring compliance, and monitoring back margin and execution standards.
- Provide daily operational support to Key Irish Partners, including tracking sales-out performance, managing forecasts and orders, setting up marketing plans, analyzing P&L, and assisting with product set-up and launches.
- Assist Senior KAMs in preparing and presenting customer-focused strategies, using sales data and insights.
- Support the promotional planning cycle, ensuring all activities are documented and budgets are monitored.
- Ensure all data for accounts is accurate and up to date, producing timely reports to support sales forecasting.
- Collaborate with the Retail Activation Manager to deliver impactful in-store and online plans and materials.
- Communicate regularly with the sales team, generating reports and managing account information as needed.
- Lead and support key sales projects and initiatives across the team.
You will bring:
- Experience in account management and a track record of delivering sales targets.
- Background working within high-performing sales teams and exposure to account negotiations.
- Strong commercial awareness and experience with forecast control across multiple product lines.
- Working knowledge of the retail industry (experience with electrical brands is a plus).
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, and keen attention to detail.
- Highly developed planning and analytical abilities with a strategic mindset.
- Excellent relationship-building and negotiation skills.
- A proactive, results-driven approach with a growth mindset.
- Self-motivation and the ability to see projects through to completion.
