Job Description

Turner & Townsend are leaders in professional services to the Data Centre sector globally. Due to the continued success and expansion of our business in Spain we are currently recruiting for Junior Cost Management to join our team in Madrid. 

With a market leading client base and the opportunity to work on strategic commissions and high-profile projects, this is an exciting time to join the business unit and grow a career with Turner & Townsend.

Key responsibilities:

  • Assist with cost planning, budgeting, and financial reporting for MEP works.
  • Review and analyze contractor and supplier quotations.
  • Monitor project costs, forecasts, variations, and change orders.
  • Support procurement and tendering activities.
  • Prepare regular cost reports and track project KPIs.
  • Step by step, you will take on more responsibility in your projects and ensure effective construction cost management for our clients.
  • Act as a competent contact person and advisor, fostering good and constructive collaboration with client-side departments and planning teams throughout all project phases.

Qualifications

  • You have successfully completed a degree related to real estate or engineering, such as Civil Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Architecture, Quantity Surveying, or a similar field.
  • You have already gained initial practical experience in project management or project controls for complex building construction projects; in particular, you found the area of construction cost management or cost management especially enjoyable.
  • You are proficient in using MS Office and MS Project as a matter of course.
  • You enjoy tackling complex tasks and, thanks to your analytical and interconnected way of thinking, find optimal solutions for our clients.
  • You possess excellent communication and presentation skills, in Spanish and English.
