This role plays an important part in supporting the financial administration of over 120 student societies. You will work closely with the Accounts Administrator to ensure accurate bookkeeping, timely reporting, and efficient financial processes across a busy and varied portfolio.

The position is ideal for someone with finance or accounting experience who enjoys working in a dynamic, student-focused environment and is comfortable managing a wide range of administrative and financial tasks.

  • Strong numerical and administrative skills

  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

Desirable Experience

  • Experience working with student organisations or not-for-profit environments

  • Experience working with large datasets and complex spreadsheets

  • Ability to explain financial processes to non-financial stakeholders

  • Ability to manage competing priorities and work independently

Working Arrangements

This is a part time role with the Central Societies Committee (CSC), the organisation responsible for supporting and overseeing Trinity College Dublin's student societies. While the CSC works closely with Trinity College Dublin, it is a separate employer. As such, this position is not part of the University's employment framework and does not include Trinity College Dublin's pension scheme or employee benefits. However, the role offers an excellent work-life balance, including seasonal office closures during University holiday periods. The position is based on site in Trinity College Dublin on a working year of approximately 38 weeks.

Working hours will typically be scheduled across 2–3 days per week during normal business hours from 10am to 5pm and will be agreed in advance.

What We Offer

  • A supportive and collaborative working environment

  • The opportunity to work closely with student societies across Trinity College Dublin

  • Valuable experience in a busy financial and administrative setting

  • Flexible part-time working arrangements
