The technology Reference Data team is seeking a skilled and motivated Java Full Stack Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be proficient in both front-end and back-end development, leveraging Angular and Java to create robust and scalable web applications. This role involves working across the entire technology stack, from designing user interfaces to managing databases and APIs.
What you will do:
Design and develop responsive user interfaces using Angular, HTML5, CSS3, and Javascript/Typescript
Build and maintain backend services using Spring Boot, Java and RESTful web services
Design, optimize, and manage relational databases such as SQL Server and Oracle
Create and integrate REST APIs for seamless communication between frontend and backend systems
Ensure application performance, scalability and reliability through efficient architecture and optimization
Conduct unit testing, integration testing, and debugging to ensure stability across the full stack
Maintain clean, well documented, and testable code with adherence to software engineering best practices.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product managers, designers, and QA to deliver business-aligned solutions
What we need from you:
Proficiency in Java and the Spring Boot framework.
Hands-on experience with Angular and front-end technologies like Typescript, HTML5, and CSS3.
String knowledge of relational databases and experience with writing efficient SQL queries.
Familiarity with RESTful API design and consumption
Experience with version control systems, especially Git.
Working knowledge of Agile development methodologies
At least 6-8 years professional experience in related engineering role.
Demonstrated analytic/diagnostic skills
Ability to work in a matrix environment and partner with virtual teams
Education:
Bachelor’s degree/University degree or equivalent experience
