Citi is seeking an experienced Full-Stack Engineer to join our dynamic CTI group. We're looking for passionate software engineers who thrive in solving complex business problems through innovation and cutting-edge engineering practices. You will be responsible for writing high-quality code, collaborating with other developers, and breaking down complex requirements into manageable tasks.
This role supports the Technology Reference Data team within Citi Technology Infrastructure(CTI), helping build a consistent, reliable and standardized reference platforms that integrates application and infrastructure data across private and public clouds (AWS, GCP, Azure).
In addition to traditional full-stack engineering tasks, this role will also provide opportunities to work on AI/ML initiatives, making familiarity with Python-based machine learning frameworks and data science best practices a valuable asset.
What you'll do
- Good track record of relevant experience in design and development of Java-based systems.
- Experience with real-time messaging and ingestion e.g. Apache Kafka
- Experience building intuitive and responsive user interface using modern front-end frameworks (Angular/ReactJS)
- Excellent knowledge of Relational Databases, SQL and ORM technologies (JPA2, Hibernate)
- Passionate believer in the value of continuous integration, testing and deployment following a test-driven development (TDD) approach
- Ability to work in distributed teams across multiple time zones
- Quick learner of new tools and technologies
What Sets You Apart:
- Experience with Python and related frameworks
- Knowledge of Large Language Models (LLMs) and their applications in enterprise environments
What we need from you
- Bachelor’s degree/University degree or equivalent experience
- 5+ years of experience in software development
- 3+ years of experience with full-stack development
