As an IT Procurement Specialist, you will bring your expertise in buying IT products in order to support PartnerRe’s IT procurement global needs. This is a short-term contract, with a potential extension. The role is based in Dublin and mainly focused on Intellectual Services but might cover Hardware and Software procurement as well.

• Negotiation of IT contracts and procurement of IT services, goods, consulting and software, ensuring competitive pricing for the value proposed
• Involvement in and handling of RfP activities, compliance matters, license contracts, SaaS, terms and conditions.
• Interaction with internal requestors and other stakeholders like Legal, (IT) Compliance and Data Protection
• Management of & Interaction with vendors / suppliers
• Contract Management

You bring at least 5 years’ experience in Procurement including 1 experience minimum in IT procurement, and you possess the following skills and exposure:

• Experience in legal and compliance matters related to contracts in Information Technology
• Ability and experience to work in an international and multi-cultural environment
• Results-focus and bias towards action
• Ability to leverage interpersonal skills to establish rapport and develop relationships
• Work effectively and collaboratively with various departments, levels, and locations throughout the organization
• Knowledge of French and/or German an advantage
• Good oral and written communication skills; capacity to adapt to interlocutor
• Autonomy, adaptability and proven negotiation Skills
• Ideally, you hold a Masters in Procurement or equivalent (an asset)
