  • Partner with Sales, Product, Delivery, Legal and Finance to ensure proposals are compelling, compliant and commercially sound
  • Oversee timelines, approval gates, deliverables and review processes to ensure high-quality submissions are delivered on time
  • Challenge and strengthen solution, pricing and commercial inputs through the customer lens
  • Support the development of win themes, deal storyboards, value propositions and competitor positioning
  • Drive continuous improvement across bid content, proposal libraries, tools and ways of working
  • Create strong alignment between bid management and wider sales operations, ensuring effective handover into delivery
  • Provide leadership on strategic bids and executive-level support for high-value opportunities
  • Track performance, lessons learned and success metrics to improve win rates and bid quality over time

What you will need to have:

  • Significant experience in bid management, proposal management or pre-sales leadership
  • Proven success leading complex RFP, RFI and proposal activity in a matrixed environment
  • Experience managing and developing teams
  • Strong ability to influence senior stakeholders across Sales, Product, Delivery, Legal and Finance
  • Excellent written, verbal and editorial skills, with strong attention to detail
  • Strong organisational and operational skills, with the ability to manage multiple high-value opportunities and priorities
  • Experience establishing or improving bid governance, processes and content standards
  • Strong commercial awareness and ability to shape compelling deal narratives
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and proposal management / CRM tools
  • Hands-on experience with RFP response tools is essential

What would be great to have:

  • APMP qualification
  • Experience in payments, fintech or financial services
  • Experience leading regional or global bid teams
  • Experience authoring both technical and commercial proposal content
  • Familiarity with pricing reviews, legal reviews and contract handover processes
  • Experience working across EMEA and with distributed teams
  • Experience with AI tools, particularly the use of AI in RFP and proposal responses
