Haematology Brand Lead

As the Haematology Brand Lead, you have a unique opportunity to be a driving force for the organization and will be accountable for creating and implementing the marketing strategy. This is an important role within GSK’s Oncology team, working with the cross-functional team of Medical, Market Access, Regulatory and other relevant functions to ensure a successful launch and business in haematology.

This role will have specific focus on the marketing mix that should be implemented for a successful launch.

Haematology is an extremely important and high-profile area for GSK, making this role similarly high-profile in its successes. It’s a dynamic, fast paced therapy area offering real variety of experience, challenge and knowledge, and is also highly competitive. Our oncology andhaematology products have a transformational impact on our patients and their loved ones, so this is a fantastic role for anyone passionate about transforming the lives of patients.

Your responsibilities:

  • Take accountability to develop and deliver clear strong marketing plans
  • Partner excellently with cross functional teams to develop and execute and winning launch plan
  • Support launch excellence process and milestones with the regional team
  • Leadership of the marketing team on the development and execution of a competitive marketing plan
  • Build strong and collaborative relationships with regional team to ensure strong alignment between Ireland team and key stakeholders
  • Ensure all activities and plans are executed in alignment with GSK’s high ethics and compliance standards and all applicable local legal requirements and regulations.
  • Role model GSK’s values and expectations. Adhere to GSK Code of Business Ethics, the IPHA Code of marketing practice for the pharmaceutical industry and in line with scientific engagement principles.

We are looking for professionals with these required skills to achieve our goals:

  • Sales and marketing background, with an excellent understanding of the Irish haematology market
  • Strong commercial and business acumen with product launch experience preferable
  • Experience developing multi-channel strategies and campaigns for a brand, including all core digital channels

Preferred Qualifications:

If you have the following characteristics, it would be a plus:

  • Experience with product launches in the hospital specialty care market.
  • Understanding of relevant clinical key stakeholders, cancer funding processes and the local healthcare system (including access and routes to market) for the assigned products.
  • Experience of having worked in the area of haematology.
  • Marketing Degree/Diploma or equivalent
  • Works creatively and independently, with the passion and energy to drive what is needed for the best possible launch
  • Comfortable with creative thinking and problem solving
  • Highly customer & patient focused
  • Demonstrated project management skills
