About the role 

An exciting opportunity has opened up in our Financial Planning team, a team responsible for developing and enhancing our digital advice platform. In the role, the successful candidate will: 

    • Support the development and continuous enhancement of our digital advice platform.
    • Apply core financial planning knowledge to support platform design and development.
    • Use and interpret cash flow modelling outputs and tools to validate planning assumptions and client outcomes.
    • Collaborate with Project teams, Advisers, financial planning team and technology teams to deliver digitally led planning solutions.
    • Support testing, quality assurance and implementation of new platform functionality.
    • Identify opportunities to improve adviser and client experiences through platform and process improvements and innovation.
    • Assist in the creation of planning methodologies, templates, training materials and adviser guidance.
    • Contribute to project workstreams and squad initiatives, taking ownership of tasks and deliverables.
    • Support the creation of client and adviser-facing content.
    • Ensure compliance with all relevant Risk and Compliance frameworks, policies and procedures.

This role combines financial planning expertise, project delivery and business innovation. Working closely with Financial Planning Specialists, Product Owners, technology teams and Private Client Advisers,  you will help shape how financial advice is delivered to clients across our key client segments.

We are looking for a self-starter with strong initiative with an understanding of core financial planning concepts and an interest in technological developments. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys solving problems, and would relish contributing to transformational business projects within a financial planning environment.


Requirements

About you

We are looking for somebody who has the following background and skills: 

  • A degree or master's qualification.
  • At least two years’ experience in financial planning, wealth management or financial services with a strong interest in financial planning and wealth management.
  • A fundamental understanding of core financial planning concepts and cash flow modelling.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving and organisational skills.Excellent attention to detail.
  • The ability to manage priorities and work independently.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • A proactive, self-motivated approach with a willingness to take initiative.
  • High proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook.
  • QFA qualification (or willingness to complete).
  • CFP qualification (or willingness to complete).

Desirable

  • Knowledge of pensions, investments and taxation.
  • Experience working on business change, transformation or digital projects.
