We are currently looking to recruit a Financial Accountant to strengthen our finance function, ensuring accurate reporting, robust controls, and high-quality financial insight that supports our expanding global operations.


Requirements

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Preparation and reporting of monthly management accounts
  • Assume responsibility for balance sheet control reconciliations and trial balance monthly across three companies
  • Intercompany reconciliations
  • Process/manage payments and reconciliation of accounts with suppliers
  • Analysis of project spend and accruals with the project management team
  • Assisting the Financial Controller with preparation and monitoring of budgets and forecasting
  • Assisting with the external audit process
  • Compliance with external reporting requirements including RCT, VAT, Intrastat, VIES & National Statistics
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement changes to increase efficiency, streamline workflows, and controls

Key Competencies / Requirements

  • A fully qualified accounting professional with at least 5 years of experience in the preparation of financial statements and management accounts
  • Strong IT skills essential including an extensive working knowledge of Excel
  • Experience with SAP systems desirable
  • Demonstrate excellent communication and people skills with the ability to integrate and collaborate effectively with people at all levels
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Team-oriented with a flexible approach to work and a positive outlook
  • Self-motivated with an ability to undertake a wide range of activities and move quickly between different tasks
  • Must have experience with supervising and directing small financial teams
