  • Establish and manage programme governance, including programme plans, RAID logs, milestone tracking, benefits tracking, and executive reporting
  • Manage programme budgets, resource allocation, dependencies, risks, and delivery timelines
  • Drive process improvement initiatives across the finance function, identifying opportunities for optimisation, automation, and efficiency gains
  • Evaluate emerging technologies and build business cases for inclusion within the transformation roadmap
  • Lead change management activities including stakeholder analysis, impact assessments, communications, training, and adoption strategies
  • Build and maintain strong stakeholder relationships across finance leadership, executive teams, technology functions, and wider business units
  • Facilitate steering committees, workshops, prioritisation forums, and key decision-making sessions
  • Ensure alignment across multiple programme workstreams, proactively resolving cross-functional risks and blockers
  • Define, track and report on programme benefits, ensuring clear linkage between transformation initiatives and financial outcomes
  • Champion the adoption of finance technologies, data-driven decision making, and continuous improvement practices across the organisation
  • Work closely with finance, technology, HR, data and other business functions to ensure successful delivery of cross-functional transformation initiatives
  • Support the design and evolution of finance operating models, organisational structures, processes, systems and data capabilities
  • Lead finance process mapping, future-state design and target operating model development to support ongoing transformation objectives

Required Experience:

  • Strong finance transformation background with deep understanding of end-to-end finance processes, finance operating models, month-end activities, governance and controls
  • Comfortable operating within finance functions and speaking the language of finance
  • Proven experience delivering large-scale, multi-workstream finance transformation programmes from business case through to benefits realisation
  • Strong programme management experience, ideally supported by qualifications such as Prince2, PMI, APM, or equivalent
  • Demonstrated experience leading structured change management initiatives within large transformation programmes
  • Experience delivering continuous improvement and process optimisation projects within finance environments
  • Experience supporting or leading finance-focused SAP transformation programmes, ideally with responsibility for post-implementation optimisation, process redesign, adoption and benefits realisation
  • Experience working across multiple business workstreams including Finance, Technology, HR, Data & Analytics, and other business functions
  • Strong understanding of programme governance, benefits realisation, risk management and executive reporting
  • Experience managing senior stakeholders and executive leadership teams
  • Exposure to process mining tools such as Celonis, SAP Signavio, or similar
  • Excellent communication, facilitation, analytical, and problem-solving skills
  • Strong understanding of business process improvement, systems implementation, and operational controls
  • Experience mapping business processes, systems landscapes, data flows and target operating models
  • Strong understanding of enterprise finance platforms, planning systems, reporting solutions and associated data ecosystems

Desirable Experience:

  • Tableau and/or PowerBI certified
  • Experience with Databricks and dimensional data modelling
  • Experience working with SAP, enterprise planning and analytics platforms, and finance reporting technologies
  • Exposure to AI-enabled finance, analytics, automation, or decision-support capabilities within finance transformation programmes
  • Experience helping finance functions become more data-driven through the adoption of modern data and analytics platforms

What’s in it for you:
