Role and responsibilitiesAt ASML, our Applications Engineers are at the forefront of enabling customer success during critical node transitions and high-volume manufacturing ramp-ups. You’ll apply your technical expertise across lithography, metrology, and control systems to help customers maximize performance and unlock the full value of ASML’s solutions.
Your Mission in Ireland:
- Be a key player in launching a new EUV fab in Europe.
- Own and drive improvement projects, troubleshoot lithography issues, and translate customer challenges into actionable solutions.
- Collaborate across teams—locally and globally—with engineers, account teams, and customer stakeholders.
- Lead experiments, analyze data, and deliver insights that shape the future of chipmaking.

Education and experienceMS or PhD in Physics, Optics, Electronics, Micro-electronics, Mechanical Engineering, Material Science Engineering, Chemical Engineering or IC manufacturing or equivalent experience.
- 5+ years of direct Semiconductor industry experience preferred.
- Strong organizational, communication, leadership and interpersonal skills.
- Detailed oriented individuals with critical thinking, problem solving and follow-up skills.
- Fast learner with strong self-motivation to grow technically; be able to perform job at high standard with minimum supervision, and demonstrated ability to thrive in a high pressure and fast paced environment
- Project management skills
- Hands on experience in data analysis and coding using software like JMP, matlab, python, R etc is required.

This role may involve sitting, walking, typing, and occasional lifting (up to 20 lbs). Up to 30% travel is expected.
