The Engineering Manager is a key member of the Engineering Team, reporting to the Engineering Director this role also sits on the site management team. As Engineering Manager, you will be responsible for effective and efficient delivery of the IMIL project portfolio while meeting regulatory, quality and safety requirements. It is also your responsibility to ensure that site project portfolio and Site Master Plan is aligned with the future site capacity and capability requirements while also ensuring that site risks are effectively managed.
Primary Areas of Responsibility:

Project Department and Project Portfolio Management

Site Capital Spend Budgeting, Forecasting and Strategic Planning

Site Project Management System Owner

Site Risk Management

Site Master Planning

Site Equipment and Systems Capacity and Capability Management

Interface with Project Management Officers and Engineering Manager from other Ipsen sites to develop corporate project management systems, tools and procedures.
What we are looking for:
-
Ideal: Engineering Degree and Continuous Improvement Tool and Techniques training (5S, Lean RCM etc.,). Relevant project management and/or Project Department management experience within the Pharmaceutical Industry, preferably on an FDA approved site. Project experience including HVAC, Purified water, Clean Steam, Freeze Dryer experience, Waste within the pharmaceutical industry. Relevant risk management experience and Site Master Planning Experience.

Minimum: Engineering Degree. Relevant project management experience within the pharmaceutical industry.

Proven people management and leadership skills, with strong communication and organisational skills.

Excellent attention to detail, self-motivated and ability to work to tight or changing deadlines

Operational Excellence at Green Belt level would be an advantage.

Proven ability to effectively led and manage change specifically related to project implementation

(Stakeholder Management).

Proven ability for the execution of results and a track record in delivering successful capital projects
