In this technical sales role, you will partner with business and technical decision-makers to design and implement modern security architectures that protect identities, endpoints, data, applications, cloud workloads, and AI environments. You will leverage Microsoft's end-to-end security portfolio to help customers reduce risk, strengthen resilience, and accelerate innovation.
What You'll Do- Lead customer security transformation initiatives aligned to business and compliance requirements.
- Design and demonstrate solutions across Microsoft Defender, Microsoft Sentinel, Microsoft Entra, Microsoft Purview, and Security Copilot.
- Help customers adopt Zero Trust architectures, modernize Security Operations (SOC), and strengthen threat detection and response capabilities.
- Drive conversations around Data Security, governance, compliance, and secure AI adoption.
- Showcase how Agentic AI Security and AI-powered security operations can improve productivity, accelerate investigations, and enhance cyber resilience.
- Collaborate with Microsoft teams, partners, and customer stakeholders to deliver impactful security outcomes.

Responsibilities
- Drive technical security sales through compelling demonstrations, assessments, proof of concepts, and architecture engagements that showcase the value of Microsoft Security solutions and accelerate customer adoption.
- Lead security architecture discussions and technical workshops focused on Zero Trust, Data Security, Security Operations modernization, Secure AI, and Cyber Resilience.
- Build trusted relationships with CISOs, Security Leaders, IT teams, and business stakeholders to co-design secure, scalable, and compliant security strategies.
- Remove technical blockers and accelerate deployment success by collaborating with engineering teams, partners, and product groups while bringing customer insights into product innovation.
- Maintain deep expertise across Microsoft Security, including Microsoft Defender, Microsoft Sentinel, Microsoft Entra, Microsoft Purview, Security Copilot, and cloud security practices.
- Guide customers through security transformation initiatives, including Zero Trust adoption, threat protection, identity security, data security, compliance, governance, and AI security.
- Develop expertise in Agentic AI Security, helping customers secure AI applications, intelligent agents, data access, and AI-driven business processes.
- Collaborate with strategic security partners and ecosystem providers to deliver integrated security solutions that meet customer business and regulatory requirements.
- Represent Microsoft as a trusted security advisor through customer forums, executive briefings, industry events, and technical communities, demonstrating thought leadership in cybersecurity and AI security.
Qualifications
- Master's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field AND technical pre-sales or technical consulting experience OR Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field AND technical pre-sales or technical consulting experience OR technical pre-sales or technical consulting experience OR equivalent experience.
- technical pre-sales, technical consulting, or technology delivery, or related experience OR equivalent experience.
- experience with cloud and hybrid, or on premises infrastructures, architecture designs, migrations, industry standards, and/or technology management.
- Certification in relevant technologies or disciplines (e.g., Office 365, Power BI, Azure Architect and Development exams, Cloud Platform Technologies, Information Security, Architecture).
- Italian speaking
Digital Solution Engineering IC4 - The typical base pay range for this role across Ireland is € 60,300.00 - € 102,600.00 per year. Certain roles may be eligible for benefits and other compensation.

Digital Solution Engineering IC4 - The typical base pay range for this role across Spain is € 53,000.00 - € 92,000.00 per year. Certain roles may be eligible for benefits and other compensation.
