You’ll work closely with technical decision-makers, leveraging customer and industry insights to build credibility and influence technical outcomes.You’ll collaborate across Microsoft, partners, and support teams to address customer needs, remove technical blockers, and accelerate adoption of Microsoft Cloud and AI solutions. You’ll contribute to demonstrations, design sessions, pilots, and proofs of concept, helping customers define success metrics, adoption plans, and business outcomes.
The role also offers the opportunity to grow technical expertise, share insights with the broader technical community, and help customers maximize the value of Microsoft’s skilling and readiness programs.


Responsibilities

Role Summary

Engages with customer technical decision makers with coaching from others. Develops understanding of current customer context and anticipates next steps. Engages other resources, leveraging basic resource knowledge, for key areas of technology as needed to overcome technical blockers. Engages in partner sell-with scenarios by contributing to the facilitation of technical engagements and partnering with colleagues to manage the sales process. Reviews customer interactions and raises and acts on competitive information. Learns about and uses existing demonstration assets. Assists team members to monitor or implement action plans to promote customer usage of key/prioritized Microsoft solutions/products. Solicits input from others to contribute to proposals for viable solutions based on specific technical products. Provides support for pilots and proof of concept development for technical architectures. Collaborates to build aligned customer timelines that capture sponsorship and projects tied to technology outcomes that add customer value. Consumes and leverages readiness materials to expand domain knowledge and practices expertise by communicating with customers, partners, and senior colleagues. Participates as a member in the Microsoft tech community. Ensures customer technical teams are aware of and leveraging available skilling programs.

Cloud and Technical Solutions Development 

Proficiency in understanding, advising on, and implementing solutions involving technologies and security. This includes skills in designing, implementing, and testing technical solutions and architectures. 

Cloud Platform 

Knowledge of the cloud platform, productivity platform, identity, and multigeography deployment strategy.

The ability to effectively articulate solutions' value with internal and external business stakeholders in a clear and concise manner, ensuring mutual objectives and priorities are presented and understood to drive successful outcomes in sales engagements.

Required/minimum qualifications 

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field OR Relevant certifications from Microsoft or competitive platforms of technical architect, technical consulting, design and implementation, and/or technical sales experience OR 2+ years experience in technical architect, technical consulting, design and implementation, and/or technical sales OR equivalent experience. 

Additional or preferred qualifications 

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field AND 2+ years experience in technical architect, consulting, design and implementation, and/or sales OR equivalent experience. 

1+ year(s) experience with cloud-based solution designs, migrations and management of technology.


Digital Cloud Solution Architecture IC2 - The typical base pay range for this role across Ireland is € 46,100.00 - € 69,100.00 per year. Certain roles may be eligible for benefits and other compensation.
