About the TeamThe Infrastructure Team builds and maintains the core foundation that powers all Protex systems, ensuring scalable data infrastructure, robust edge-to-cloud connectivity, and high-performance backend services. We support edge deployments for real-time computer vision applications and deliver resilient systems to enable proactive workplace safety at global scale.
About the RoleWe’re looking for a DevOps Engineer to drive infrastructure efforts across cloud and edge environments. You’ll implement CI/CD pipelines, design and implement scalable observability systems, and drive system reliability across globally distributed environments. You'll help shape a seamless developer experience, maintain environment parity (Dev, Stage, Prod), and ensure secure, high-quality data across all regions.
You’ll work closely with engineering teams to support well-architected, cost-effective, and secure infrastructure.
What You'll Need5+ years of professional experience in DevOps, Infrastructure, or SRE roles
Proven experience in SRE with a focus on uptime, reliability, and system health
Expertise in monitoring, observability, and reliability best practices
Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automation (cloud and edge)
Experience with Unix-based operating systems
Hands-on experience with Kubernetes, Terraform, ECS
Experience with database management
Ability to deploy infrastructure across regions while maintaining GDPR and other compliance standards
Solid knowledge of AWS services (e.g., Lambda, EC2, S3, CloudWatch)
Good understanding of cloud security best practices (secrets management, threat prevention, vulnerability mitigation)
Mindset:
Owning their own work including planning, high quality delivery and cooperation with other teams.
Helpful towards engineering teams, willing to jump on their issues with urgency.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field
Experience defining and delivering solutions improving DORA metrics
