Job Description

With responsibility for the development of demand forecasts, the Demand Analyst, Bookings has primary impact on Sales & Operations Planning. This position is responsible for comprehending all forecast inputs from dealers and National Accounts and integrating them into a single demand forecast. Communication with salespeople and sales managers at all levels of the sales process is critical to recognizing potential demand and formulating the best possible forecast.

This position can be based in our Irvine or Frimley locations and is available for Hybrid Working.

Key Responsibilities:

EMEA Sales Representation with EMEA Product Supply

  • Represent EMEA Sales organisation at the weekly S&OE meetings

  • Provide input and guidance to that meeting on near-term forecast delivery (current month to current month +2) along with the series/plant impacts of latest forecast changes and any key risks and opportunities

  • Take ownership of any follow up actions for the Sales team, for example, in identifying actions to fill close-in production slots at risk of being cut. Liaise with Product Supply & Supply Chain to understand open slot numbers, timing and specs; match to best case/pipeline opportunities and support Sales to secure the required orders with the dealer(s) or end-customer(s).

Work with Product Supply on commercial slot management and prioritisation

  • Feed into the S&OE meeting scheduling priorities from the Sales teams

  • Engage with key stakeholders to ensure production slots are filled

  • Track and report to VP Sales, Market Intelligence and others as required.

Work with Sales, Product, Pricing and Market Intelligence to support the monthly S&OP demand planning process for EMEA

  • Work with the Sales team to ensure a monthly ground-up demand plan, with full ownership from the Sales organisation.

  • Ensure forecast inputs within Blue Yonder (the Company’s global S&OP platform) are as accurate and complete as possible

  • Highlight any sales volume and/or revenue gaps of the current forecast submission to AOP or STF as appropriate to VP Sales, along with possible mitigation options

  • Understand the development of AOP/STF/LRFF volume plans and cycles

  • Develop strong working knowledge of the Blue Yonder platform, to be able to input and extract data

  • Attend the monthly Demand Planning (DP) meeting and provide support and input as required.

  • Assist & track Sales programs to drive focused volume and share growth.

  • Work with Market Intelligence (MI) to understand Sales forecast accuracy and provide support on the communication, understanding and application of this data across the Sales organisation to enhance forecast quality. Seek ways to strengthen Sales forecast accuracy.

  • Work to identify and leverage global best practice around supporting Sales through the demand planning processes.

Knowledge Required:

  • BA/BS Business degree required

  • 3-5 years relevant experience

  • Project Management Skills

  • Strong product, application and Industry knowledge.

  • Strong analytical, verbal and written skills

Desirable:

  • Knowledge of Salesforce and Blue Yonder
